Has anybody used a Jet Ski dock to dock their plane on a floating dock? If so want manufacturer? Any other clever ideas for docking the airplane?

Bobs Jet ski dock, does work well. There are pics posted on this web-site from about a year ago. It was rather pricey, Approximatly $5000.00

I built a very narrow floating dock, an L-shape that catches the bow and passes
under the landing gear. I will post pics. Very low cost $150-$300. Works
beautifully.

Bob Toener's set up. I am not sure that he is still using it.

Bob, I bought a Jet Dock brand floating dock to park my SeaRey on. It is made up of 18' cubes that interlock together and can be reconfigured to many shapes while experimenting. The rectangle shape I am trying now has too much floatation (makes it a little tough to get the leading edge to submerge while driving up on it) and the step on my B hull catches between the cube joints. When the step gets in the cube joints it is very secure on the dock but is the devil to get off the dock when you want to go fly. I'll try some more configurations as time permits. It would be nice to be able to drive on and drive off as opposed to having to push it backwards to de dock.

Yes, the unit I have is an ex dock and it works ok. John Dunlop and Frank Nordheus helped me modify it and it works well. Lake Dora is vey low right now so I cant use it. I plan to sell that dock and the surrounding pieces if you are near the Orlando area. It is in 4 sections that costy me about 7 grand all totaled, but I sell the whole thing for 3G. I keep my Searey in a hangar now so no need for it. I will post pics in a day or two.
