Anyone planning on attending the splash-in on Lake Guntersville in NE Alabama next Sat, May 16? That is the home of Kenny <br />Cobb, Searey pilot and dealer. Kenny's home airport is 8A1 (Guntersville Airport) located at the edge of the lake. How about <br />some of you Carolina guys. Want to plan a trip? From Marion, NC, Aeroplanner says it is about 224 miles and a 3.5 hr non stop <br />trip. Kenny has issued an invitation for several of us to fly over on Friday or Sat. and stay in his hangar which is equipped with <br />living accomodations. In fact, Kenny stays there most of the week. They are having a fly-out Sat morning to another airport for <br />breakfast, a BBQ at noon and dinner at a restaurant that night. <br />

Sounds like a great trip. But Sammie is still laid up with a broken leg. I have all the parts, just too many other promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.
