It would be a great day here in New Jersey to be out flying. My schedule was radically changed last night, however, when I started reading a book: Touching History, the Untold Story of the Drama That Unfolded in the Skies over America on 9/11”, by Lynn Spencer.<br /><br />The book reads like a Clancy novel. Unfortunately, it is all too true.<br /><br />Ms. Spencer is a pilot for ExpressJet Airlines so the book is technically interesting as well. It does shows how the FAA, the airlines, and the U.S. military did an incredible job of adapting to unprecedented circumstances.<br /><br />There is no political agenda. As Sgt. Joe would say, “Just the facts, maam.”<br /><br />If you don’t have a lot of time to get engrossed in a book, don’t buy it.<br />
