Bob Schwartz did my inspection. I liked him and he tells you before he comes out exactly what he wants you to have ready. However, understand it is not an 'inspection'. It is paperwork only. The inspection part is cursory at best. Don't rely on it to find any building errors. His e-mail was:
RSCHW36659@aol.com

Hmmm so its mainly paperwork with a brief look at the plane? If I may ask, what does he charge? Can I fly it to him? Here's my main question: While I am waiting for the registration paperwork to come back, can he issue the a/w certificate it if I have the 8050-1 temporary registration?? The reason I am asking is because I am under the gun- a guy in SC wants my plane asap and i would like to get this done as fast as i can...which is great because that means I can FINALLY get my SeaRey.

He did mine a few years ago so I'd hate to quote price. Something like $500 plus his travel mileage.
I do not think there is any way you are allowed to fly the plane pre-inspection. I was able fly the plane as soon as he was done, if I recall. Oh, and legally, it WAS an inspection.
