Dan Conroy, Searey pilot at Port St. Joe, FL lost his battle with cancer last night. He was an enthusiastic Searey pilot and his smile will be missed. No details on a memorial or funeral services. His address in the 'Members' is currrent. See weblink for some of Dan's flying and hospitality.      Attachments:

Life's a war we're all sure to lose. From your photos, John, it looks like Dan waged the war well. Condolences to Dee, Dan's family, and those of us who didn't personally get to see him smile.

Ah. He seemed like a really good guy the one time I met him, friendly and cheerful and vigorous. Bum luck.

'Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -WOW-What a Ride!' -unknown
