I know its early, but Jim Garrett and I are already looking forward to flying our SeaReys from Texas to Garners Landing in 2011, staying for a couple of days at Sun n Fun, then on to Key West and, if we're really feeling adventurous, the Dry Tortugas!

We're planning on a couple of weeks for the trip, taking our time and having fun along the way.

Current (weather dependent) plans call for leaving from Houston on Friday morning, March 25, arriving Winter Haven on Saturday, to be ready for Garner's on Sunday and then Sun n Fun Tues/Wed. We'll probably head to Key West on Thursday, March 31, and then after that - who knows?

If anyone is interested in joining us for all or part of the trip, or has any advice on long distance travel with wives and SeaReys, we'd love to hear from you! Attachments:

Dave, we have space on the beach with tie down for another Rey. on John's lake if you
need a place to chill for a while.

Troy - thanks for the offer. Our current plan is to tie down at Winter Haven, where we can rent a car for a few days, but if anything changes, we'll be in touch!

Dan - I admire you long distance guys with all the stamina! I can only take about 6 hours a day in the cockpit without it feeling too much like work. Hopefully by leaving Friday morning for a Sunday event, we can have some fun along the way, or a little wiggle room if the weather doesn't cooperate.

    Hi dave,
If you are staying for SNF too, dont forget to come by the 'searey refugee camp', its right next to the grass strip in the homebuilt section. there will be quite a few of us hanging there all week.
