    They blow air out the hulls to go fast. Sorta like the tiny holes for anti-ice fluid on wings.

    I was thinking, My plane would not be the best test subject because it gets off the water so fast anyways. Maybe a Lake or a Seabee.

    PA experimented with a magical paint on hull concoction back in the day. Initial reports were promising, so I tried it on N220WT. It didn't reduce hydrodynamic drag, but it did cover up oyster scratches and rock scrapes.
