John Rennie flies a Hawker 2000 corporate jet for work but when he's not in Kathmandu Nepal or some other exotic land he loves to come home to his J3 for fun.
Attachments:

I owned a 1939 J3 several years back, after it was primed it would start
with one pull just about every time. I was on a cross country one fine
day and stopped for fuel. It always attracted lots of attention, so
there were several people looking at it and asking questions. I got done
filling the massive 12 gallon tank said my goodbyes and got back in the
cockpit, put on my lap belt and headset. I then realized that I had
forgot something really important, I forgot to hand prop the engine to
get it started (no electrical system). So there I was with several people
looking at me waiting for me to hit the starter and taxi away. So as a
cover up, I mumbled something about a dead battery, got back out and
started the engine. I may have fooled a few of them, but a couple of the
old timers were sure laughing.
