I put together a video of a flight to test a camera mount that I
built for the front of the Searey, it can be front or rear facing.
Easy on and off attachment and most importantly not going to
come off in flight. It's made for my GoPro, but can be used with
any camera. You might even recognize the parts. As for the
view that you get, its growing on me. Definetly a different
perspective.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJXK8XYeMWI

What a great invention Paul. There doesn't appear to be any
vibration during your test flight. How in hell did you manage
that ? Patent it !!....and do some water landings next.
Thanks

Very cool camera location, Paulo! I've tried mounting the camera to a strut...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEpJCKmIVfk&list=UUUZxvBxevBs
9vms_0QlBRqg&index=34&feature=plcp

...but I think yours is better.

    Thanks Dave,
I only did one water landing in that video, that's the only time I had
when I mounted it. I had to head back to work, since I had snuck out
for the test. The vibration is what I was concerned about, so I was
pleasantly surprised that there didn't seem to be much.

    Hi Paul:

While GoPro was first, there sure are lots of competitors now. Any of you have any comments pro/con on the others?
I am getting the bug.

Best,
Larry
