Whoops! MyFamily changed something in all of their sites on 10 Feb 2013 that may cause photos not to be displayed in Firefox. This may occur on both Windows and Macintosh computers. Safari and Internet Explorer are not affected.<br /><br />Here's what a MyFamily tech support person told me to do:<br /><br />In Firefox, go to the Tools menu and click on 'Clear Recent History.' Then refresh the MyFamily page, and photos should display correctly.<br /><br />In Windows Firefox, you may have to clear ALL of the history items and then close and re-start Firefox, but I didn't need to do that on my Mac.<br /><br />The tech support person seemed very surprised--said something to the effect of 'That never happened before.' She went off and consulted with other techs and they finally came up with the 'Clear Recent History' fix. She apologized profusely. (I was very profused.) She said that they had made the change to all MyFamily sites, so there was nothing they could do now. Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Etc.<br /><br />That seemed like a good time to ask the tech about improving the search capability of the MyFamily sites so that we can search for text within posts. She said she'd pass the request on to... um somebody.
