My pleasure. I didnt know I had renewed it 9 times but I am fine with that for all the pleasure and information I get from Spash and Dash and Searey Technical Site.

I have been sitting in the middle of the desert in Oman next to a non functioning oil rig for the last four days waiting for parts so I can do my job. It is 55 degrees centigrade outside and checking into the Searey sites is one of the things that keeps me sane.

The internet connection here is extremely intermittent. Saw the site needed a top up and from where I am it took a whole bunch of goes before it finally said the site is expanded. I guess it took nine goes, (I wasn't counting) and they were all successful.

My thanks to all that contribute. I check both sites daily, but as I am now 3 1/2 years into my build (that I thought would take six months!) I dont have much I can contribute other than cash as I am not flying yet.

Hi Marty, I am sure looking forward to seeing your aircraft
finished, I'm sure it will be one of the best ones ever built.
Have been flying my SeaRey for the last three years,
and have clocked up 400 hours of exciting adventures and
have met a great bunch people along the way. Look forward
to flying with you soon, Thanks for the donation to
this site.

Shoot Marty, I'm right behind you at 3 years, and your panel is far cooler than mine.

Steve, funny, I look at the progress you are making and think damn, Steve Kessinger is building far faster than me. I remember posting something on your build when I was far enough into mine to be able to comment on what you were doing. And my panel is just hardware, you have the wiring in.
It was actually a picture you posted of the avionics tray that made me build it in as a part of my hinged panel arrangement. I liked the tray idea, hadnt thought of it until you posted. Thanks

Unfortunately Jim with the way immigration and tax laws are set up in Australia a non resident Pommie like me can only stay 6 months a year. That is a big part of the reason my build is taking so long.
The other reason being I do insane things like taking six weeks to build an instrument panel. I love the way it turned out but most parts got made three or four times until I was happy.
Can't help myself, have done the same for everything.
The bulkhead took me over a month too. Then right after I finished it P.A. came out with the upgraded LSX bulkhead which was an easy fix to everything I was trying to do with how I changed it. Really enjoy the process though, but at the same time wish I was flying already.
I left Oz a couple of weeks ago and am gone for another five months. At least winter will be over when I get back.
I guess I will just have to tough it out on the beach in Thailand until then!
Will be good to hook up when I get back to Sydney.
How are you doing with your Searey?
