Hi All-- I bought an unfinished LSX kit and I am having a lot of fun learning about and working my way through the building process. I have built a few other planes in the past, Long EZ, Questair Venture, Hiperlite, and have my A&P license and have been around a lot of projects. the "plans" came with the kit-- a big 3 ring binder, there was one short chapter on installing the engine (I have a 914 for it) so, I had Jim Ratte order me a FOB of the build instructions and it came with even less engine install instructions, I complained and Jim was able to send me a few more chapters but then while looking through a post a while back here, I found another complete chapter (27) on engine oil connections that I certainly do not have nor even knew existed. It makes me wonder just how many other chapters are out there that I can't seem to find or do I have access to. Am I missing something here?? Why is it difficult to get information, I know there are slightly different machines, Classic, LSX, Factory Elite-- but having instructions on how the factory is installing a system in an Elite could sure help an LSX builder know how install that system in his airplane. All of the other airplanes I have built had complete plans available to every one-- am I missing where those plans are???? thank you, dan
