Good shot Don. I met Buck at the Bowden Splash-in. Glad he is bringing his SeaRey this time. I'll bet it will be a fun trip.

Bill, it was great to see you at PA and enjoy lunch together!

Buck, was that you that flew up my cove and down Shannon's runway this afternoon? You should have stopped.

I planned to splash into your cove on my way home from FL to see if you were home, but I failed to spot your house and wasn't sure
I was in the right cove. Since my plan to fly the coast was thwarted by high headwinds I splashed inland reservoirs on my way N. I
was in Lake Murray with the sailboats, Lake Norman with the power boats and hoping for a quick hello, Kerr Reservoir with the last of
the bass tournament boats, Lake Gaston and the James River. I planned for a quick bite to eat where Don, Carol and I enjoyed a
wine (not for us) and seaplane event in Clarksville a few years ago, but the beach was blocked by docks and boats. So it worked out
even better as I enjoyed a quick visit and dinner with Don and Carol at TAJ on the James- making it home at sunset.

Sorry I missed you. I was at Laney (N92 - about 15 minutes west). I could have met you in the air but doubt I could have kept up with you. Barbara sent me a text saying you flew right down our cove. Then Shannon sent me a text asking if the Searey that went by was me. You made a showing even if you didn't stop.

Ha! I almost swung by Laney remembering our visit there!

Buck crossed paths with Kevin on St. Simons Island going south and they flew together to Florida the next day.      Attachments:

Kevin showed me how to fill a Searey day with adventure. Splashed the coast and St Johns River
on the way to lunch at the Lakeside Inn on Lake Dora. Gas at America's Seaplane City- Tavares.
Salt-away wash down at a nearby airport. Visited PA and gave a couple rides to very excited
potential Searey pilots. Dinner at the Tiki Bar on Lake Minneola and then bedded down in Tavares.

Buck stopped here this evening on the way from Florida. After a quick dinner he high-tailed it for
home, figuring on arriving just at sunset.

I think he did a flyby of LIA right after I closed my hangar door. I ran outside and thought it was
Dennis, lol.

I was looking to see if you or ET were out for a quick stop. Hopefully someday soon we'll meet at a splash in.
