Greetings Fellow Wet Flyers, It's that time again. For all those that call or write me asking reference the Florida Keys. Here is another great chance to enjoy the klees and the beautiful weather. This year's event is exciting and somewhat historical. Thanks to Yours Truly as always... Our SeaPlane family has a special invitation to the 2016 Air Land and Sea Poker Run which has an Air, Land, and Sea format. The Poker Run travels from Miami through Key Largo and through all the Keys, ending in Most Southern at Key West. This year handful of boats are taking off to the second leg of the event to Cuba (historical) This a very desirable destination for recreational Sea Plane owners, due to its calm protected beautiful calm waters, and first class Airport. After an extensive planning effort with many organizations, resort operators and county officials, organizer Mr. Stu Jones, president of the Florida Powerboat Club, has extended a personal invitation to The Sea Rey and the Sea Plane community, due to the unique nature of our aircrafts, making us the ideal attendees for this rare, Air-Land -Sea Poker Run. As most of you know. I have participated in quite a few of these poker runs throughout my life both in the Air and on Boat. It never gets old. These events are a world of fun. I would love it if my Sea Rey and Sea Plane Brothers and Sisters would join me on more runs... There is a very exciting agenda, this is a world class Key West where the event is being staged, and the event is full of spirited, laid back, good fun people who also like to enjoy the finder things in life! Special arrangements have been made for safe storage, docking and wash down of aircraft in Miami, at the checkpoints and in Key West at our destination marina and airport. Special event rates on hotels fuel and tie downs. ( no need to worry about memberships for the aircraft class) The Florida Powerboat Club offers a concierge style approach...They will book all your rooms, plan all the activities and make arrangements for safe storage and parking of the aircrafts. ( so don't worry be happy) What's also great, is that they televise all of their events on SunSports and other networks, so all attendees are guaranteed television coverage!
