Here is another MD SeaRey video. Spent the Wash DC snow weekend figuring how to make a GPS video embedding software, DashWare, work. Dashware is a free Window's gauge embedding application that GoPro just inquired. It was a bit difficult to get it to work. it has some nice aviation gauges to display your GPS info with our videos.
Looks like I got the hang of it enjoy.

Pretty neat, Robert. I'm still trying to get my gopro movies to play on this vintage computer!! The instruments give a new perspective. I saw 100+ several times.

GPS records ground speed. It was a rather blustery day, that is why I did so few Splash & Gos.

Nice ride, Rob! the airspeed and altitude tapes are really interesting, too. Dashware looks very cool. What do you use for data sources?

Don, I used the GPS data from my Contour II camera, but any GPS source will work. For example, I have recently downloaded and
played with the iPhone app CamTrackr to such up GPS data with my GoPros. I might be able to use my Dynon GPS data. I might
try that in the future.

Great video Robert. Very well done. I especially liked the position indicator on the chart to left screen.

Does everyone know that Kentmorr Restaurant is the only one (to my knowledge) where Maryland Crabs can be had by land, by sea,
or by air?!!! (Not to brag too much but we've done all three.)

Well Courtney's down off the mouth of the Potomac River may be another Air/Sea/Land eatery with crabs. I had their fish sandwich when I went in there with Helen and her group (see video); then there are Morris Point Restaurant in St Clement's Bay near St Mary's and Tides Inn Resort down in No VA.      Attachments:

Another good video. How about "Vera's" on St. Leonard's Creek? Years ago that place was, well, unusual.

Well, there is Cantler's Riverside Inn on Mill Creek if you want to enter the SFRA, land on the creek & taxi on in, anchor 'cause
there's no place to moor so swim on up... Well, you get the point!

Now if you are talking about splash-in in the SFRA, then you could go to the Severn River Inn across from the Naval Academy. See Chuck Cavanaugh's post of http://searey.us/splash/?Photos&p=SZE480000

Yep, all great areas to fly into. Robert, have you ever gone in over the Key Bridge and into Inner Harbor area of Baltimore?

Robert Richardson IV - Feb 08,2016   Viewers  | Reply
Over the Bay Bridge regularly, especially heading home from the lower bay. My Essex (W48) dollar ride tour is a 3-600 ft flight
