After a 3 month hiatus for some repairs and upgrades, I am finally going to ferry my Searey from Florida to her new home in North Carolina in about a week.
One of the upgrades was the addition of an engine cowling. A big thank you to Angel for doing such a great job dealing with installing it on a classic Searey. Another thank you to Daniel Meyers for helping me with my rusty skills after 3 months.

Weather has really made it a challenge to get my Searey home. Was hoping to fly back this weekend, but weather has been a bust.
I've decided to stay in Florida until weather clears enough to get her home...hopefully Tuesday.

We'll keep the light on for you. It's been hard to get any air time up here also. I think I've only flown a couple hours in the last two weeks due to rain. I usually try to fly every day.
