Jack West has requested offers on his 2004 SeaRey. He needs to sell it because he is no longer able to use it.

The airplane hasn’t flown in two years. The engine has, however, been started four or five times. Jack says he sees no reason it shouldn’t start again. He changed the oil a year ago and put stabilizer in the fuel.

Here are some details on the airplane: It was delivered on 04/27/04 in Orlando and was built by Jack and P.A. It's has a fiberglass C-Hull and powered by a Rotax 914 with less than 300 hours (probably closer to 200). It has always been kept in a hangar. I’ll attach some of his pictures.

The airplane is out of annual. Jack does, however, have an A&I who can give the airplane an annual.

The airplane is located on his small airstrip in Maine. Jack doesn’t think the strip would be suitable for flying out of until May when the snow melts and the ground dries a bit. The strip is short (1200’) so it might be prudent to truck it out unless it is thoroughly checked out.

Jack will not be back in Maine until June. For a serious offer, he can get someone to show the airplane.

Jack also tells me has a couple of other interesting things in his barn. He has a “Hornet” gyrocopter kit that he bought for $9000. He’s taking offers on that too. He also has a $1350 deposit on a Rotec radial engine that he placed several years ago, reserving the old price. The engine has gone up in price and the for the price of Jack’s deposit a substantial discount is available.

If interested please contact Jack West through his email address: tommix40@hotmail.com. Or, I can call him at his winter home in California to relay questions or offers.
