Charlie told me last weekend that the Caravan in the picture was none other than Jimmy Buffett. He was in New England for his Fenway Park concert. General admission tickets were $100 a piece. Scalpers were getting $200. He can afford a few Caravans.

Sorry guys, the Caravan in the picture isn't Jimmy Buffett's, though the timing is right for the 2 concerts he did at FIN-wY. His is all white and reg is N208JB. I was aboard it at Sun 'n Fun '03. I've been aboard the Albatross - 928J - several times, too, but dang it, he wasn't and neither of them were running - much less flying.

928J is on static display at Margaritaville. I offered to run up the engines on a weekly basis in return for being allowed to use her for a type rating when he puts her back in service, but no reply. The engines are sitting there rusting. I'm told they do pull the props through a couple rotations 'every once in a while'... Arrrrgggghhhh!

BTW, Buffett's other planes are a Falcon 50 - N502JB and a Stearman (Boeing E75) - N43320.
