Description: Since the tropics have kept us rather pinned down here in Florida I guess I will post some pictures from an August trip. I flew to Steinhatchee on August 17th, a typical hot summer day. Days like this you can either fly above the clouds (cool and smooth) or do the rain shower weave(more scenic and bumpy). Either route you can get cut off by mother natures floating white puffers or pouring rain. The later in the day it gets, the worse it gets. By 1200, the high road can be too high for the Searey capabilities. When flying to the coast, the highest clouds will be encountered about 10 miles inland from the coast, then they will abruptly clear away. On this trip I took the high road and crest my highest clouds near cross city. These puffers are at 9,000 feet and climbing faster then my searey.
