Description: Another beautiful Oct. day begged for some flying. Dave King and I rendezvoused at Picton then flew north over Trenton Airforce Base and up to CPJ5.
A very active Oak Hills Flying Club operates out of Stirling airport with 15 a/c stored in a variety of hangers. An E-W r/w is charted and a private N-S r/w is available with PPR. With a wind of 360/20, we were glad that the owner of the abutting N-S r/w gave us permission . Damndest approach I have seen since flying into the old Hong kong airport. Established on a one mile final for 35, you couldn't see the button due to the tall trees about 500' from the threshold. Would have taken pictures of that, but was just a tad busy.
