Description:
Pete Millar's Challenger with the Storch & SR. We got the Trenton ATIS on the ground...taxiing out, then took off and contacted Trenton as soon as airborne. 'We're not busy....how bout a fly-by ?' Always glad to oblige, we did a pass over the military field and headed for Picton. Makes me appreciate living north of the 49th. Makes me appreciate being alive. Makes me appreciate the freedom and joy of owning a SeaRey.

You probably made the day there at Trenton, Dave. Coming back from hurricane hiding last week I stopped off at 15J, Adel, Georgia on the edge of Moody AFB's airspace. (I didn't get invited to fly through but I didn't get shot down either!) Two young guys with military haircuts came over to admire the Maule. 'I've always dreamed of flying one of these to Alaska,' one said. When asked what he flew he said an F-16. 'Too bad we can't trade for a day, eh?' 'I'd do it but I think the Air Force might not be too happy about the deal.' I guess dream swapping is against regulations.
