Description: Getting nearer to my destination, somewhere out there about another 1/2 an hour away is my friends property.

The tree line is following the Bogan River and provides an excellent navigational reference. My friends property was right on the Southern bank (Port side) of the river.

They have a levy around the house but this was not enough to prevent 5' feet of water to run through the house during the 1991 floods.

They told me that they sat on chairs that they had put on top of the dining room table and they would watch TV to get flood and weather updates.
