Description: Taken from a 1996 issue of FLIGHT. This Viscount was hit by a CF-101 at Baggotville airport in Quebec. The flt had landed in very foggy conditions and was back-tracking the r/w while the Vodoo was on a GCA. The controllers...military...weren't communicating and the Vodoo attempted to go-around but sliced the Viscount from the rear flt attendant seat to just short of the fwd galley. One flt attendant died and a small fire broke out but ther were no other injuries. The pilot of the Vodoo was later hired by Air Canada. The gentleman doing the hiring at that time was quoted as saying
' we want you on our side.'
