What a Splash in, 'Our Father who Is In Sydney' Rob has excelled himself in this one, John Dunlop was everything we expected, his support and efforts at all times was superb.
He jumped into the left hand seat of the 'Jollyroger' and flew a circuit in a totally unknown situation, and of course he wasn't happy with his landing!, who is I ask?.
A very professional aviator that boy!.
But I must say he was not to be found when Perry offered a flight in his Seawind, so being the nice bloke I am I filled in.
Is that some Hot Rod, having ridden in a P-51 this is very similar, we came over the 'Mob' indicating 165kts, then approach at about 75kts with touch down at about 65kts, my kind of mid life crisis.

Yes Frank The Searey is a fun machine, the Seawind is a fast comfortable aircraft, but very demanding, Perry is an EX airline pilot, very experienced & very switched on with his Seawind.
I only did one lap, and only handled the controls from just after lift off till late final, sorry about the P-51 I should have said a DC-9.
But Frank the bottom line is if someone parked a Seawind in my lap I would learn to fly the sucker as soon as possible.
I will put something together from my short flight & a friend who has more time on.
