Wow, it's light--300 kg EW is 660 lbs. How do they do that?! But it comes with 'Lead ballast for single pilot flight'. Tsk. Otherwise, it looks sort of like a sleek tri-gear SeaRey with an escape-proof canopy.

Boy, we're going to be over run with competition in this market, how long before they give them away with a packet of Weeties?

    What is the price tag?

Much of it looks good except that canopy. That gives me the shivers -- no way to get out in a flip over! Gear retract looks like that of a Canso or a CL215. It might be better than ours. Love to know what they use for an exhaust system.

I asked for the price in May this year, and I got this reply :'The price for the kit, 'ex works' (without engine, propeller, radios and flight instruments) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is 35,000 USD.' .This is far more than the Searey.<br />

On the outside ends of the horizontal stab, there are little vertical parts...what are they for? If they are for lateral stability, why not just make the rudder bigger rather than increase stress here? Can you get elevator blanking at high AOA with a crusiform tail?

HI FRANK! the vertical tabs on the elevator are designed to give added strength to the elevator and to stop the air from spilling out the sides, therefore you can get away with a smaller, stronger more responsive elevator. votex generators do work, now i dissagree with putting them on the inward root of the wing, but two over an aileron make a definate difference. i kind of like the rockwell commander looking tail. i have to admit it frank you are right about the searey being a proven design and very easy to build.
