Description:
The Curtis' just love their new airplane and were so delirious that they bought lunch for the delivery guys. John is a retired United captain and former Kitfox owner (he flew into Garner's last year in the floated fox). After eating lunch we could have scored some of Lou Ann Garner’s brownies for desert but we couldn’t wait around for them to cool. Russ' recovery is going well but the news about Ol'Mike is bad. A gator got him. Not to worry about Lou, though. She has a new puppy to ease the pain.

Oh my God, that is so sad about Mike. We will miss not seeing Mike at the gathering. To me he was a calming presence. Please be careful with the new puppy.....with the aligators I mean. Good luck to the new proud owners of a SeaRey! JB

I hope the Alligator tracker gets that Alligator out of your lake. Once an alligator attacks an animal or a person, I believe that alligator should be caught and killed. JB

We just had a guy pulled into a lake by a 10' gator last weekend, they found the guy the next morning floating in the lake with one arm missing. You can't count on the state doing much either. This gator was reported going after some kids playing in their yard on this lake a year ago. I just set some traps today, may have this big daddy gator that's next to our house soon. Lou wants some new boots.

Russ, sorry about Mike go for boots, purse, belt and wallet. I can't make it down this year maybe a few other Canadians would help bait the gator, hehe, John, Doug can yah run fast.

I helped final assembly at PA for this bird. Also finished another plane before that. One project was Paige's the other Marks. Excellent experience for me as I am at final stage on my plane. Also helped Kerry mold & finish seats for the Curtis plane. I would recommend helping out anytime. Really makes building easier & PA folks will take any time you need to work through any issues you might have.
