Some days when I get up I gotta pinch myself…. Particularly when I woke up to this scene not too long ago. Thanks to Dan, who loaned me his floating Searey dock I was able to park my Searey right outside the back door at my “secret winter searey base” just 3 miles from X61. When I first arrived the Catherder known as 'Stray Cat' (yeah they got names now) immediately provided instruction on polite Florida flying rules whereupon I was to provide my exact location so that the Catherders could avoid low flying and upsetting the neighbors. I complied. We then proceeded to get buzzed by a different Searey a day for about 7 days in a row…. sometimes in formation for cryin out loud. Then whilst returning to x61 in a five Searey Catherder formation I was amazed when over the radio came the order “hey let’s buzz Darrell’s place”… I said whaddyaa talking about…. I’m right here in formation…. Didn’t matter within seconds I was at altitude all by myself… Ahh what the heck… so I buzzed the house too. It’s a contagious disease I tell you. It’s been a great winter lads… I’m lookin forward to seeing everyone at Garners…even Frank.

Our pleasure Frank, Mike said he really enjoyed the appointment. About the Czech's amphib I've been hearing rumours that it has been scrubbed. Problems getting off the water. I also hasten to add I get about 15 rumours per hour in this biz... so who knows.
