Description: As far as I can tell, there's only one safe alternative to the SeaRey and Aventura II--the Corsario. Here's one landing on the ultralight runway.

    It's pretty light, Frank, so maybe the dihedral helps. The canopies open up like gull-wings. I don't think they can be opened in flight, but at least they should open or break out if it's upsidedown in the water. And there seem to be several fuselage configurations. Its aluminum boom tube looked to be about 7' in diameter. I didn't like the nosewheel for beaching, but the mains appeared to be simple and rugged. Here are two web pages about it.
