Description: Heading home with a brisk wind, couldn't land in my cove due to the w/v and waves and rotars off the escarpment so went down a bay and tried behind an island. Same thing so headed north to Mohawk airport and attempted one more water landing but it was just too windy. Ended up landing on 27 and called Lynn to come and get me. Got VMU that evening when tranquility returned in the cove.

Hi Frank...Dave did a great job...climbing on top of the truck to get these. Picton was one of the many BCATP...British Commonwealth Air Training Plan...airports across Canada built to train the 'KIDS' for the 2nd W.W. It is one of the few remaining intact and our flying club maintains the r/ws and cuts the grass in an effort to keep it open. So far so good.
