Description: Borrowed son Chris's spy cam, set it to take a picture once a minute, taped it to the float strut, and went flying. ALL of the shots turned out to be boring--I did two splash-and-goes, but it missed them both. Here are four best frames, just to illustrate the point. Maybe I'll try it again sometime...

What a neat perspective Don. Can you set it so that you get a landing and T/O ?

The problem is that it just snaps away on its own schedule, and there's no way to know when it's going to take a picture. One minute is the shortest interval it does--and as I found out yesterday, the fun stuff seems to happen during the intervening 59 seconds. If I ever get ambitious, maybe I'll rig up some way to press a camera's shutter button manually from the cockpit. I'll also remember to fasten the camera so it's level in flight, instead of when the tailwheel is on the ground.
