Fred is a great host, John, but he is prone to taking people to some of the most outstanding scenery in the world at the cost of having to fly with the best.

    Hi Fred
Great stuff. I remember having been there with you. Our planning is to fly to Vancouver for a long visit. Perhaps this year. Our Searey is currently stationed in Marana, Tucson for a rest having flown it from Florida. Next month we are planning to fly to Baja California (sea of Cortez) prior flying north.
Stay in touch
Peter & Paula Switzerland

    Hi Peter,
Baja is where we spend our winter. Midway between La Paz and Los cabos is a little town of Las Barrilles. There is a 3000' strip just north of town and a couple of strips just south of us. There is also an excellant book available about flying the Baja.
Have fun...keep an eye open for hurricanes in Aug...Sept...Oct.
