What a handsome boy, Dave! Got a lot of his mother's genes, eh? Children that age are a lot of fun and I know he'll love the SeaRey. (Too bad kids grow into teenagers and their parents into grey hair Buick drivers who move to Florida.)

The airplane looks great too. What engine does Rick have in it?

dan you are so right, my oldest is 12 and the girls are calling already. good thing he's good in school and loves sports, i'm trying to tell him to stay away from the girls ( yeah right!) but he won't listen. rick has a lycoming 0-320 with power flo exhaust. another friend of mine with the same plane has an 0-360 it really moves. my first glastar had an eggennfellner subaru, very smooth and it did make it across the atlantic ocean so i was impressed with the reliability, although i wouldn't be me trying that!
