Description: The Gannet is a Seaplane imported from Spain by LSA Aero.

It has a 40 ft wingspan, all composite, and weighs 600#. Max gross weight is 1430#. The baggage area behind the seats is rated for 250#. Fuel is 23.5 gal with a main tank and two wing header tanks. Cost is approx $80K. The amphib prototype is being flown in Spain and is expected to be available by the end of the year for 90K at 640#.

    The Gannet is a flying boat, no gear. Unless they get the LSA amphibian confusion/issue resolved, maybe it should stay that way.<br /><br />One thing I like about this design is the easily detachable wings for trailering/storage.
