This is John Brown's dream come true. Last year it was nothing but a poorly constructed model (see the album 'Other Seaplanes' and look for 'Dragon Dreams'). John's goal was to have a LSA qualified seaplane by Oshkosh 2005. The fact that he had an airplane floating in the water is a testament to his tenacity. Heavy? You betcha. You can kick the wing and all that happens is that you'll have a sore foot. Don't you just love those crazy young men and their flying dreams?

I usually really like new ideas and designs, but I'll put this right alongside Frank's Centaur. This thing is UGLY. Maybe it flys well.

The red 'thing' is a hovercraft. When it gets up to speed, it flies about one or two feet above the water surface.
