Congratulations to John! He really made the Gaggle work nicely. Everyone had a grand time because of his excellent planning and good humor. (Well, they're all excellent Gagglers, too, but this is about John.)

Don, your words are kindly spoken and you are right about Ellen always keeping her cool. Most people would have headed for the hills (I almost have, several times) when faced with tents on the front lawn, a full bungalow of strangers, and five dogs, two cats (and a partridge in a pear tree!) You and Carol were the “coolest” of guests!<br /><br />I had some misgivings before this Gaggle and there certainly were some frustrating days. But I was blessed with a crowd of simply great people who overlooked my shortcomings and made it fun for everyone. In planning a fly-in like this it is easy to forget that the camaraderie makes it work, not the aircraft or weather..<br />
