Description:
John has posted other pics of SeaReys on the Edward's lawn. I'm posting this one merely to get Dave riled up. HE says this in definietly NOT a runway. Of course, there ARE those wires overhead and those trees at the far end. On the other hand, it's downhill taking off and uphill landing, and if one were to pass beneath the wires and over the trees taking off (or vice versa upon landing) one might find it a suitable airstrip for those days when the water in Turtle Cove is too rough for an A hull. (Dave is probably muttering something right now about 'an a-hole.' But I don't care.)

So are the cables an attempt at a landing arrestor? I guess they would pretty much committ you to the landing once started.

Don is the second person to seriously contemplate a downhill t/o off the lawn. At one point, I really got concerned that he would sneak out and demonstrate it to us. John disconnected his ign. modules....just in case.

Dang! Is THAT why it wouldn't start that night? And I figured it was just the midnight air.
