This is looking at the island from the east. There are a few more dry spots to the north, but they appear uninhabited.
I took this photo as we were heading home, late in the afternoon, but it's essentially a wide right downwind for runway 2. The runway is on the far side of the island, just this side of the large, square, white building.
The runway is paved, but it undulates noticeably. I didn't notice the undulations while landing because the wind was from 330 at 16G22, and we stopped quickly. But on takeoff one of the undulations shoved us into the air early--and the next one did it again.
