Description:
Don's buddy has a nice spread on the lake. The beach is ideal for seaplanes. Hey Charlie, lets see if Don's buddy will host a Yankee SeaRey Flyin next year...
BTW - I did one of my best landings of record right in front of Don. Bounce.... BIG BOUNCE, throttle, LOTS of throttle... settle on down now... skip skip skip skip skip skip skip skip. bounce bounce... all set.
'Hey Bret, how many of those are you going to log in your log book?', 'All of em Don, I counted 8 to 10'
...what a fellow SeaReyer will go do to make a guy feel better about collapsing his gear. It was some of my best work.

It was excellent work, Bret! Made me feel a LOT better.

But the interesting thing is, you never went more than 6' or 8' from the surface--and it was glassy water, too, so that lake looked pretty small on short final.

OK Don... that landing may have been a lot of things but it wasn't glassy water, c'mon man.
