    hey bret, where did you get that jacket from? looks like it came right out of top gun, but we know better. martha wants to buy me a jacket for christmas. she wants a ring ,a new camera, and a trip to florida in march. i get a jacket( which i have to pay for of course)

    Its just a blank MA-1 flight jacket from Sporty's:<br /><a href="http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?DID=19&Product_ID=5327&CATID=115">http://www.sportys.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?DID=19&Product_ID=53<br>27&CATID=115</a><br />Then I add my own patches to it as I go. Each patch was some little significance to me. For example, I have an interesting US Naval aviator patch given to me by old former navy pilot because I built the control surfaces for his 2/3 scale Hellcat. Stuff like that. I put a big US flag on the back. The jacket is a replacement for my old leather motorcycle jacket that traveled around the country with me for years collecting patches... only to be stolen when my house was burglurized about 10 years ago. That jacket was really the only thing that insurance money couldn't replace.
