Description: The airfield has three runways (one to be closed soon)--was a training base in WW II. Here's Charlie reading one of the historical displays. The gold-plated Jeep tucks in behind the motorhome on the highway.

    I hope he does like the photo, Mike. The composition came out pretty well--sort of forthright and foursquare, like Charlie himself, and with the line of the plaque and the roof drawing the eye toward the gold Jeep and the lines of the sidewalk leading directly to Charlie. I think he was wearing a heavy sweater that day. I saw <I>lots </I>of guys at TAN wearing sweaters like that.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML.
