I was talking to a guy at IVO. He told me of running a performance test on a prop, shutting the engine down in flight, crawling out and turning the bar (to adjust pitch) and starting up and doing another batch of tests. It was their first in flight adjustable......

'You know, those bugs on the prop really hurt performance.'

'My sandwich should be warmed up by now, I think I'll check it. Safety first...I'll turn the engine off while I go out and check it.'
