Description: What a glorious morning. Our 'blizzard' came as expected. Got the wood stove and coffee going early, then took the dogs on the 1/2 mile walk down to the mailbox to get the New York Times... Kids chanting for bacon and eggs and then bundle up for sledding with the neighbors who are rumored to be out of hot chocolate but we have it on good word that they have a fresh pot of chili simmering on the stove. Maybe a trade can be negotiated.

This is our good old rotty Blue showing back up at the house after trailing behind a little on the walk back from the mailbox. She's 12 and moves a little slower these days but she still never misses an opportunity for a walk...

Bret, that BIG 1/2 mile walk every day must really be getting you back in shape. From your last picture you're going to have to keep eating if you're going to maintain your figure.
