Description: At the present time this is a very secluded unnamed lake at an elevation of 4600 feet. I am in the process of getting a name for this lake in memory of the the late Toni Onley who died of an heart attack two years ago flying his Lake Buccaneer. Toni is acknowledged as one of Canada,s most celebrated landscape artist - he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1999. Public collections of his work include those at the Tate Gallery and the Victoria & Albert Museum inLondon, The National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa and Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

I would appreciate all support letters and use any titles you have or association names.
You can address them to me by email or snail mail at
Fred Glasbergen, Director
BC Floatplane Association
Box 1082
Fort Langley B.C.
V1M 2S4

It is on behalf of the BC Floatplane association that we are making this request as Toni was also a member and will be making this request with the provincial government who has the authority. If you know anybody of importance in the art world please pass this on as the more letters we have will make the process easier.

    Chris

The lake that we are proposing is not in any of the parks so that should not be a problem but not sure about the natives as they seem to come up with sacred burial sites or some sacred hunting site where ever they feel it is in their interest. The lake is about half way in a strait line to Jervis inlet from where you are. Very isolated and only air accesable.
