As soon as we stepped out of the plane we were in thick deep mud which sunk way down, fortunately the next few steps were not as deep. They had a hose with both hot and cold water and we were able to wash our feet, this was next to the building. Actually one of the Air Boat guys got the water hose for us, it was behind a gate.
Judy

Judy, what was your secret for getting back into the plane without the mud?

Well Jeff, that was tricky. I rinsed one foot, dried it with a paper towel, and then rinsed the other foot. But doing that is easier said than done. I kind of 'fell' into the seat with the other foot dangling out, still needing to be rinsed off. I'm glad there wasn't a crowd watching us. Although when we were taking off, there was a crowd outside waving to us as we did a fly-by! Judy
