Description:
Ron, his wife and son were very gracious host and I hope to repay them if they visit the States. They had a lovely house with a guesthouse attached. There was also a garage that had another airplane nearing completion. It was a composite, go fast variety which makes a perfect mix – one for traveling and one for playing.

Really enjoyed your visit Robert, just wish the weather had been better. Missed the cat.5 cyclone but had the side effects of a smaller one last week. Had to move the searey down the field to more shelter which was fun in the very gusty winds. Took off briefly just while taxying.

Ron, I can imagine that Searey was a handful as it is a pretty open area with plenty of fetch. I am glad you have escaped major damage from the cyclones. Thank you again for the great hospitality and remember to let me return it if you head this way. I really enjoyed the tour of Frasier Island. I want to see you post a picture of your Searey on the beach! Let us know how your test flights go in the Jabaru. Best wishes for you and the family.
