Description: Remember kepone? I mean the chemical product, not the rock band. About 30 years ago it was filling up the James River and washing down past Colonial Jamestown to the Chesapeake Bay. It was pretty ugly stuff. I'm not sure, but I think this is where it was produced. If not here, then a couple of miles farther north.

They say that the water is okay now, and maybe they're right--whoever 'they' are.

No matter. The constant smoke from that stack is the best wind indicator in 50 miles.
