Don - I used to work with a guy who loved to tell me about his former job (years previous) where he worked in a hangar so large, that it 'had it's own weather'. (I suspected he was sniffing too much MEK). If there was any such thing, this blimp hangar would have it, I'd say. Think there's any truth to that? (Sounds like a good one for 'Myth Busters').

You couldget a Searey off, do a circuit and land it in there!

It'd be great for RC models, wouldn't it?

Aw, it would be tempting, Chris, but it's not quite wide enough for a SeaRey. You could do it easily in most ultralights, though.

I've been in WalMarts with almost as much floor area--but the height! We almost got dizzy when looking up because it's so high, and the roof curves in as it rises, making it appear even higher.

I've heard that a cloud(s) form in the Vertical Assembly Building (VAB) at Kennedy Space Center, but not sure if true or a kind of 'Nicken's Tale'

Our guide said he'd never seen it rain in there with the doors closed, but that there were rumors of it before they insulated the outside.
