Washoe Lake is a short drive from my airport, so Carolyn brought the cooler in the car as I am still in the 40 hour flight testing and can't carry her in flight yet. We did putt putt around the lake though.

Looking GOOD, John! Are you and the crew still planning on launching for Florida this winter?

    Aye, Matey,

...and beware of a Searey out of a setting western sun! We are making our packing list now and I will be looking for hangar space near DeFuniak Springs, which is 16 miles from my mother's home in the Freeport/Destin area which is in Eglin's restricted airspace.

Outstanding! The Florida Gulf Coast doesn't have the spectacular mountains of Nevada, but you won't be disappointed in the sandy beaches for parking the SeaRey on a warm winter's day.

My goal is to not need to start up the snow blower this year!
