Fuselage is frameless and seems much lighter than Searey. V hull is MUCH deeper than our hull, flatter longtitudinally and more rounded at the front. ( I'd say a more traditional Seaplane style.) Hans claims better alighting with deeper V. Buoyancy is made up by extending the hull laterally with a float area rounded on top sticking out which forms a tunnel effect each side that Hans claims significantly improves landing. Engine is further forward. Wing is 1 spar (he did not have lower wing there, and it is now shorter than top wing.) Using resin injection for wing componenents which are very well made (but much lighter than ours,) and controls are all tube and rose joints in welded end fittings. They have a set of molds in Squamish but currently are still importing kits and molded parts from Brazil as they are cheaper.<br />
