Description:
Let it not be said that Florida and Ontario have all the seaplane fun. Today there was a splash-in on Shark's Tooth Island, in the lower Potomac River, near where it joins the Chesapeake Bay. (N38-9-01 W076-44-24)
Three SeaReyers were there--Jeff Arnold, Bill Fosdick, and me. There were also two Aventura IIs, a C-185, a Taylorcraft, a Lake, two Drifters, and--uh, maybe I've missed one or two. Another airplane came late and beached where the gap is in this picture.
I took lots of terrific photos--but without realizing that the camera was set on maximum exposure, which overexposed every shot so badly that almost none are useable.
This pic is a pan made from frames from the one video I took that came out. It sucks, but it's better than the stills.
But Jeff and Bill will post some great shots. Right?
